See you on the flip side, Dreamwidth!
Aug. 22nd, 2015 10:26 pm Matt and I are headed out for a four-day backpacking excursion tomorrow! I'm really excited - this is the first time either of us has taken on a trip of this magnitude, and we're doing a section of a trail I want to hike in full.
It's a goal of mine to hike all the way around Lake Superior. I might just do it in sections, but eventually - that will happen.
Anyway! Super-quick update:
1. Matt and I have had some great talks, and my depression-fears of earlier this week are (for the most part) alleviated. Relationships are work, y'all, but I'm still enjoying this one so we'll see where this goes.
2. Some big thinky-thoughts about bisexual erasure, monogamy, and polyamory. More to come.
3. You know what's hard? Math and Economics. I'm going to get my master's in public policy, which will require a LOT of economics. I will be taking full advantage of all the tutoring and math help the university offers. I kiiiiiinda wish I'd forced math upon myself a whole hell of a lot more in my undergrad, but ... alas.
4. Still super freaked about money, but Matt and I are both really good at living frugally. At this point, I'm just trying to keep anxiety worms at bay. It's better when I'm actually doing things for school, because I can feel that forward momentum on my career that is ... lacking when I'm not.
Anyway, I should get to bed - we've got an early start tomorrow!
