Nevermind. Just emailed her. We'll see what she says.
I also participated in a Primstav workshop - all about connecting to the land and how the Norse ancestors measured time. it was fascinating, and I now have a Primstav that I can begin to decorate with my own symbols and traditions. There's an online study group, where people are interrogating how to decolonize the land we live on, how to work with this land (rather than following traditions from Scandinavia, where the phenology is different), and follow in our ancestors' footsteps. It's reminding me to slow down, that slowing down is actually a really important part of my belief system and values.
Through slowing down and reconnecting with the earth, we can interrupt toxic patterns of capitalism. And I so so SO want to interrupt those patterns.
In other news, I am trying in vain not to think about how much catch-up I have to do on this grimoire for NaNo. I really just want a day off, but I think it will look like trying to write at least 2k so I haven't shot myself in the foot later.
